I am currently working with an established Global Yacht Management Company searching for a Yacht Manager to join the team in Florida.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the company during a time of expansion. 
  
As the central point of contact for the yachts you're assigned, your main job is to ensure smooth communication between the yacht's crew, and the owner's team. You'll work closely with the Accounts Team, Compliance Team  Captains and Crew to make sure the yachts are managed to the highest standards. This involves handling any issues that come up, keeping an eye on finances, and making sure everything runs smoothly day-to-day.

This is an office-based role, and you must have the right to live and work in the USA, ONLY applicants that possess either a valid Green Card or a US Passport will progress through the selection process. No sponsorship is offered as part of the package. 
  
Duties will include:  

  • Work with the DPA to ensure and oversee that vessels meet compliance regulations and coordinate audit/surveys
  • Provide support to brokerage during the sales process to ensure that yachts are brought into management in a professional, proactive and compliant manner
  • Monthly reports and budgets
  • Organise and oversee refits and shipyard periods
  • Carry out regular visits to the vessel and engage with crew

Candidate minimum requirements: 

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a Yacht Manager or similar role in Yacht Management
  • Previous experience working on-board large yachts or cruise ships in an Officer Capacity
  • Refit/New build experience
  • Good knowledge of ISM/ISPS and Flag Class requirement
  • Dynamic, easy-going and a team player
  • Fluency in Spanish is desirable.

Competitive salary based on experience.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
