Nanny – London

Silver Swan is currently seeking an experienced live-out Nanny for a lovely family based in Kensington, London. The successful Nanny will be caring for the family’s 2.5-year-old daughter, assisting with nursery pickups/drop offs, and providing support with the child’s development and education. During nursery hours, the Nanny will be required to maintain general housekeeping and household orderliness, oversee laundry, and prep fresh, healthy meals for the child. The family travel regularly during half terms and holiday periods, so the successful Nanny must have the flexibility to travel with the family and work occasional evenings as required. An education background is highly desirable, as is previous experience assisting with schooling and development for children of similar ages, with relevant qualifications. Responsibilities:

• All general nanny duties for the family’s 2.5-year-old daughter, including:
• Creating a fun and stimulating environment for the child
• Implementing and supporting the child’s emotional and intellectual growth, including assisting with the child’s education
• Assisting with light cooking and meal prep for fresh, healthy meals for the child
• Light housekeeping while the child is at nursery, including laundry, and a willingness to complete household chores
• Organising playdates, outdoor and indoor activities
• Travelling with the family during half term and holiday periods
• Additional duties as required by the Principal

Ideal candidate:

• Strong command of the English language, with great communication skills
• Previous experience working a similar role for high-profile clients, with children of similar ages
• Is looking to commit to a long-term position
• Ability to work independently and in cohesion with parents
• Previous experience preparing fresh, varied and healthy meals
• Enthusiasm, high energy and empathetic
• Professional, well-presented and great organisational skills
• Previous experience working in education or experience supporting the educational development of children, with relevant qualifications
• Flexibility to travel with the family, or work additional hours when required
• Excellent references required from previous employers, with proven longevity
• MUST have the right to live and work in the UK

Package:

• Hours: 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum
• Live-out
