Position Overview: As a Refurbishment & Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing outfitting projects for a designated class of vessels. From minor touch-ups to major refurbishments, you'll ensure that every aspect of our vessels reflects the utmost in quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify outfitting needs to maintain vessels in optimal condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold the standards of ship interiors.
  • Lead and supervise all outfitting works, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement necessary modifications and improvements.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Proactively address challenges and risks to ensure project success.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to executive audiences when required.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in English (French or Italian language skills are a plus).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Naval Architecture preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and CAD software.
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on management approach.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
