Part Time Housekeeper, London

Silver Swan is currently seeking a dedicated, hands on part time Housekeeper to join their small team in Central London. The current Head Housekeeper has also been placed by Silver Swan, so you will be assisting her on a daily basis. This is a part time residence for the principal, and the Housekeeper will be part of a team responsible for maintaining very high standards at all times. The client is happy to provide additional training where needed.

The successful Housekeeper will be working on a part time basis, covering 25 hours per week. The working hours for the Housekeeper can be 9am – 2pm Monday to Friday, or 9am – 5pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Responsibilities:

• Daily and regular deep cleaning
• Cleaning, laundry, and ironing – all laundry and ironing is done in house
• Assisting the Head Housekeeper on a daily basis
• Care of silverware, antiques, and fine furniture
• Occasional household errands and shopping
• Handwashing and cleaning delicate fabrics and clothing

Ideal candidate:

• MUST have the right to live and work in the UK
• Flexible approach – the Housekeeper will be required to help out wherever required
• Reliable and dedicate
• Previous experience in a similar role within private households
• Ability to work alone without supervision when required

Package:

• Working week: 25 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm OR Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am – 5pm
• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: £28,000 approx. gross per annum
