Reporting to the Chief ETO you will be performing day to day planned maintenance on all electrical systems on board and maintaining stock levels of spare parts. During service / refit periods the ability to liaise and organize / assist service technicians / contractors where necessary will be required therefore good communication skills are a must.

Mandatory qualifications:

  • ETO COC
  • STCW A-VI/1-1: Personal Survival Techniques
  • STCW A-VI/1-2: Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting
  • STCW A-VI/1-3: Elementary First Aid
  • STCW A-VI/1-4: Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
  • STCW A-VI/6-1: Security Awareness

Specific qualifications and experience with the below are requirements:

  • KNX Certification - Preferred
  • Working At Heights - Preferred
  • KNX Lighting control
  • DMX Lighting control
  • Previous experience on board Lurssen build preferred.
  • Variable Frequency Drives (ABB / Vacon)
  • HVAC (Heinen and Hopmann)
  • Power Generation and distribution
  • Machinery room equipment
  • Bridge equipment
  • Alarm and monitoring systems (Besecke)
  • Fire Detection Systems (TYCO)
  • Electric Sliding Doors (Lethe)
  • Electric Sliding Doors (Reisinger)
  • Elevators  (LUTZ)
  • UPS Systems
  • PAGA
  • Electronic Shower Control (Dornbracht)
  • A proven record in fault finding on electrical systems.

Start Date:          Mid April 2024

Salary:                   €4.800 (DOE) month x 12

Leave:                   10:10 rotation                                                                                                                                                       

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
