Nanny

Silver Swan is currently searching for a live-in Nanny to work for our returning client in Casatenovo, outside Milano in Italy.
The ideal Live in Nanny should possess highly organisational skills and be experienced, flexible and organised. You will work alongside another Nanny looking after 6 children, 5 of whom are in school most of the day (ages between 1- and 11-year-old)
This a full-staff household with a chef, driver and housekeepers. 

Please note: Applicants must hold an EU passport prior to applying. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

If you do not hold an EU passport prior to applying, your application will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
 

• Coordinating weekly schedules for the children with other staff members
• Preparing nutritious meals, snacks and purees for the younger children.
• Cleaning and tidying the children’s rooms and supervising housekeepers.
• Bath time
• Arranging playdates and activities including but not limited to developmental, educational, social and appropriate outdoor activities.
• Wardrobe management, including labelling of clothes, packing, and unpacking for trips.
• Washing and ironing the children’s clothes and occasionally their bed linen and cleaning their shoes.
• Dropping and picking up children from school
• Supervising homework and reporting to employer on school/nursery matters
• Willing to travel with the family on holidays when required.
• Proxy parenting and babysitting when required.

Ideal candidate:

• Must possess a European passport.
• Fluent English and Italian speaker
• Holds a driving license and is comfortable to drive large vehicles.
• Experienced, flexible, and organised.
• Open to travel when required during school holidays.

Package:

• Salary: from €5000 net per month
• Location: Casatenovo, Italy
• Provided accommodation: a separate 1-bedroom apartment nearby.
• Start date ASAP.
