Position Snapshot

• Travel to Australia after Tahiti season

A high profile 48m private / charter MY is on the search for a 1st Mate for the upcoming Tahiti season and beyond.
The vessel has a busy charter season ahead with plenty of bookings already confirmed (Large tips expected)
The 1st Mate should have some previous superyacht experience in a senior deck role and will commit to the entire season onboard and beyond
At the conclusion of the season the vessel will travel to the east coast of Australia for the summer
The 1st Mate will manage a bosun, deckhand & deck/engineer
Will consider candidates worldwide with preference to Australian / NZ or European passport holders.
Must have a minimum of a yachtmaster for manning & can drive a 34’ tender with 3 X 300hp outboards) , Jetskis , watersports ect
Can take Male or Female for cabins

The Ideal Candidate
• Previous superyacht deck experience
• Yachtmaster minimum
• Can effectively lead a deck team
• Good tender driving skills
• Can lead a bridge watch
• Highly organised
• Watersports / Jet ski experience
• Can lead by example
• Will commit to the entire charter season & beyonf
• STCW & Seafarer Medical

Start: April/May
Salary: $5000-$6500 US / month (+++ Tips)
