Chief Stewardess

Silver Swan is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Stewardess to join a privately owned 40m yacht based in the Mediterranean. The successful candidate will be hands on at all times and be well experienced managing teams of up to 10.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Stewardess to showcase their skills and join a dynamic crew on a luxurious private yacht. Responsibilities: 

• Set up and manage the interior team for the upcoming season. 
• Oversee all aspects of the yacht's interior, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and organisation. 
• Provide butler-style service to meet the owners' high expectations including cocktail and bar duties
• Train and mentor the interior crew members. 
• Hands on housekeeping and laundry duties
• Inventory management  
• Onboard provisioning
• Outside of sailing season, there will be land based duties at the Owner’s homes (Switzerland, Italy, USA)

 
Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in English, Italian or French would be advantageous
• Previous experience on similar sized yachts, ideally in a Chief Stewardess role
• Inventory and accounting experience
• STCW Certificate
• ENG1 Certificate
• Food hygiene
• Powerboat licence level 2 (to drive tender)
• Driving licence
• EU Passport holder (Flag requirements)
• Ideally, good longevity on the previous vessels (2/3 years)

Package: 

• Salary: €4,000 – €4,500 DOE
