Overview

We are looking for a professional, proactive, meticulous and passionate housekeeper for a stunning, heritage Family Home in the rolling downs of Cranborne Chase. The residence is made up of 20 bedrooms, several sitting rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens, in the main house but also spread across the estate.

It is imperative that you have excellent experience working within private residences, carrying out all aspects of housekeeping, including laundry, to a high standard – working effectively as part of a team as you will be working alongside an already established team of four other Housekeepers.

The Housekeeper should be considerate with a cheerful nature and have a high attention to detail.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Live-out Housekeeper near Shaftesbury:

All housekeeping duties
Maintaining the household’s high standards
Care for special finishes including marble, silver, fabrics, china, and glass
Changing beds
Cleaning bathrooms
Tidying external areas
Kitchen deep cleaning
Candidate must be/have:
Exceptional attention to detail, and used to working high standards
Professional appearance
A team player – friendly, cheerful and full of energy
Be flexible and adaptable
Proactive, a good multitasker
Happy to take care of the family dogs, feeding and an occasional short walk
Ideal candidate will also have:
Good spoken English

Hours
8:30am – 5:00pm
When the principals are entertaining then occasional evening work will be required finishing around 8 – 9pm with a later start. Additional time off will be paid / or credited as TOIL.
