Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Live-in Domestic Couple for their beautiful rural property near to Salisbury. The residence is an idyllic weekend retreat for the Principals and provides a serene escape from the bustle of everyday life. The Principals enjoy regular hosting, transforming their home into a haven for gatherings and parties.

They are looking for a meticulous Housekeeper to work on a full time basis, and an experienced Maintenance/Handy Person to work on an adhoc basis. The Domestic Couple will be provided with a separate apartment, with a large open kitchen and sitting room, double bedroom, and bathroom, and have use of an onsite car.

Job duties:
Responsibilities of the Live-in Domestic Couple near Salisbury include:

• Daily cleaning of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Changing bed linens and making beds
• Managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
• Planning and preparing meals for the Principals and occasional guests
• Maintaining a well-stocked and organised kitchen
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks for the property
• Coordinating with external contractors for more extensive repairs
• Taking care of the Principal’s dogs, including feeding, grooming, and walking
• Running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up packages
• Ensuring the estate’s vehicles are well-maintained

Candidates must be / have:

• Experience of working in a similar role for a private estate / HNW individual
• Knowledge of fine fabrics, silverware, art, and antiques
• Valid driving licences
• Proficiency in English
• Cooking skills, would be a plus

Accommodation
A separate accommodation consisting of a double bedroom, open plan kitchen / sitting room and use of an onsite car.

Hours
Full-time hours – varying on when the Principals are in residence. Two days off in the midweek.

Location
Near Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Salary
£50,000+
