Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Housekeeper/Head Housekeeper to join our team.
In this position You will be responsible for managing your workload, with a focus on ensuring a strict daily cleaning schedule is followed, ensuring a clean hygienic environment, whilst upholding a high level of cleanliness. You will be responsible for organizing and keeping a client wardrobe in excellent condition so you must be detail oriented and have similar experience. It’s important to have a positive, approachable attitude and excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork! You must have experience working in a similar position. You will have a keen eye for detail and a good knowledge of hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis, mentor and support new and existing Housekeepers, and perform regular inspections of cleaned areas by Housekeepers
• Check rooms and common areas, washrooms, and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to client complaints and special requests at all times
• Understand the policies of their employer with respect to work shifts, client possessions, and privacy
• Create a welcoming environment for our clients and guests by ensuring homes are clean and cared for
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves
• Maintain a tracker for the same.
• Participate in deep cleaning projects as and when required
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
• Also involved in other Housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the windows, scouring bathrooms, changing sheets and towels, managing laundry, and keeping the place neat and tidy
• Clean, disinfect, and store all cleaning equipment at the end of their shift
• Correspond on a regular basis with your House supervisor and team members
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Very good communication skills in English –
• Strong experience in a similar position
• Experience in organising and keeping the wardrobe neat
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning appliances, and cleaning and disinfecting agents
• Strong attention to details
• Time management skill

Requirements:

• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• A minimum Experience of 5 years working in a VVIP private house is a big plus in a similar role

• Salary: 12,000 - 15,000 aed per month (£2576 - £3220 approx)
