A couple with a toddler and a new baby on the way is seeking an experienced housekeeper to help mum keep their lovely newly renovated home in tip-top shape.  Hours will preferably be Mon/Tue/Thur and Fridays from 8am – 12pm (with some flexibility).

Duties will encompass all cleaning and housekeeping, laundry, linens (beds), assisting in meal preparation and snacks for the family.  No nanny duties are required at this time.  The initial contract will be for four months (until August) however if you are looking for a long term commitment this will also be considered for the right person.

They have a lovely newly renovated 5 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home located in New Farm – dad works full time and mum will be home with the toddler and new baby due at the end of March – so they really need your assistance!

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in private homes;
  • A high level of detail;
  • Ability to work without supervision;
  • Knowledge of laundry, sorting, washing and ironing;
  • Able to run errands as required;
  • Police Check;
  • Drivers License;
  • WWCC/Blue Card

An hourly rate depending on experience circa $35-$40 per hour + Superannuation.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
