• Brand new 28’ Chase Tender
• Supporting a 50m Sail Yacht

MYS is on the search for a Chase Tender Captain to take control of a brand new 28’ Axopar chase tender as it follows a 50m SY around the globe.
The chase tender is rarely towed with preference for the Tender captain to follow in pursuit of the mothership.
Long international passages and plenty of sea / wheel time on offer.
The Tender captain will eat will the crew of the larger yacht, be given a guest cabin onboard the 50m when no guests are onboard, otherwise there is a 2 berth cabin on the tender.
The chase tender captain should ensure the vessel is always guest ready, fresh towels, beach kits , drinks ect all fully stocked
The Chase Tender Captain should be mature minded, experience with passage planning / navigation, fuel calculations/planning and an excellent small vessel handler.
The Chase Tender Captain should ideally be located in the Australia/NZ region for joining and be ready for adventurous travel, open to both Male & Female captains

The Ideal Captain
• Small Tender Captain experience
• Excellent vessel handing skills
• Not overly prone to seasickness
• Keen for sea miles and adventure
• PBL2 or yachtmaster / master 5 (preferable)
• STCW & Seafarer medical
• Located in Australia / NZ regions

Salary: Paid in British Pounds , 3000-3500 GBP / Month + 30 days annual + UK public holidays
Start: End of January in Australia
