Deckhand

Superyachts Perth is renowned for providing an unforgettable, exclusive experience for its guests.

We are currently seeking Deckhands for our busy Private/ Charter Motor Yacht based in Western Australia.

The role of a Deckhand is customer-oriented, encompassing responsibilities from the maintenance and operation of the vessel to assisting with hospitality tasks. You will ensure the delivery of top-notch customer service and exceptional experiences for all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience as a Deckhand on similar boats preferred
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey
• Participate in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring its safe and efficient functioning
• Load and unload cargo while in port
• Daily cleaning duties, including general vessel cleaning and housekeeping
• Basic knowledge of maritime operations and safety procedures
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in a marine environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing conditions
