Overview

Our client is seeking experienced and meticulous Housekeepers for their three-bedroom apartment in Hyde Park, London. The interior is finished to a very high spec, so the housekeepers must be used to working with silks, linens, and marble finishes.

The existing team includes a House Manager, Driver, and Governess.

They are looking for two separate housekeepers, to cover two different shifts - 08:00 - 16:00 and 12:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday.

Job duties:

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper in Hyde Park:

• Provide full housekeeping and laundry services (two different shift patterns, either 08:00 - 16:00, or 12:00 – 20:00, Monday - Friday)
• Light meal preparation for the family
• Experience of handling delicate materials such as silks, linens, and marble finishes
• Perform tasks efficiently and to the satisfaction of the Principal
• Read the room, take instructions, and ensure the property is presented according to the Principal's preferences
• Be discreet and quiet, considering the family's privacy
• Communicate primarily through the House Manager
• Care for two indoor cats residing in the apartment

Candidates must be/have:

• Experience and longevity in a similar Private Household role
• Experience of cooking for a family
• Experience of handling delicate materials such as silks, linens, and marble finishes
• A high attention to detail and extremely organised
• Ability to work independently and discretely
• Flexible for an immediate start

Hours

Two separate shift options, either:

08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday

Provide full housekeeping and laundry services, plus prepare a light breakfast for their son.

or

12:00 - 20:00, Monday - Friday

Provide full housekeeping and laundry services, plus prepare supper for the family from fresh ingredients.

£42,000 with a rise to £45,000 after six months.
