A 32m new build motor yacht is on the search for a deck/mate for an immediate start in the Whitsundays.
The deck/mate will shadow the captain in all deck and yacht operations and may occasionally relive captain in his absence.
Tender driving and some bridge watch experience is necessary
The yacht is currently operating private only but with the intention of getting into survey and chartering throughout Australia and South Pacific.
This is a terrific step-up position that also offers a sought after Whitsundays lifestyle
The ideal candidate will have previous yacht or tourism vessel experience, looking to progress AMSA tickets (for charter manning) and is keen on taking more responsibility than just detailing.
