Housekeeper for Shoot Lodge | Dorset | CP558

Overview

Our client, an UHNW individual, owns a prestigious shoot lodge located in the picturesque countryside of Dorset, and hosts fortnightly shoots for up to 30 guests. They require a live-out Housekeeper to play a crucial role in maintaining the lodge’s high standards, and ensuring guests have a comfortable stay.

Job duties:

• Maintain the lodge’s impeccable cleanliness and organisation standards, ensuring all 12 guest suites and common areas are welcoming and well-presented
• Collaborate with the existing team of professionals in gearing up and breaking down the lodge for shoots, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless event
• Oversee the laundering of linens, towels, and other household items to ensure freshness and cleanliness
• Keep track of housekeeping supplies and coordinate restocking as needed
• Provide exceptional guest service by responding to special requests and ensuring guest needs are met promptly and professionally
• Work closely with other members of the household staff to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team members and ensure timely resolution.

Candidates must be/have:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper, ideally in a similar environment, such as a 5* formal private household or yacht
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage time efficiently
• Meticulous in maintaining cleanliness and order
• Ability to work harmoniously within a team of professionals
• Willing to adapt to a variable schedule based on shoot dates and lodge requirements
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in English
• Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Hours

This is a full-time position – 40 hours per week.

Location

Nr Blandford Forum, Dorset.

Salary

£35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
