A high profile 45m private/charter MY that is typically based in the Pacific Ocean is on the search for a 1st officer (holding OOW) to join their exciting program
The yacht has a watersports focus, predominantly Diving & Fishing , experience in these areas will be favorable but not essential
Joining in the Maldives in July the yacht will cruise the Indian Ocean for most of 2023
The vessel enjoys off the beaten track locations and maintains a home base in the South Pacific
Future Itineraries could include Fiji, Tahiti, NZ, OZ , Indonesia, Solomon Islands ect
Plenty of bridge time and sea miles and opportunity to be mentored on drive time
The Ideal Candidate
1. Bosun/Officer experience on Superyachts
2. OOW minimum
3. Longevity in previous roles
4. Competent with bridge watches
5. Looking for career progression
6. Can lead a small deck team
7. Enjoys off the beaten track cruising
8. Diving or Fishing skills a bonus

Start: 17th July
Salary: $7000-$7500 US / month DOE + medical + annual flight + 38 days leave + Sundays accrued as lieu
The position usually starts between 7000 and 7500 USD full time. OOW 3000 required or someone very close
