Are you interested in a role that is blended between deckhand & stewardess?

Are you interested in being based in the beautiful Whitsundays?

The yacht will cruise the QLD coast and the South Pacific Islands (Fiji, Vanuatu) but will maintain the Whitsundays as its home base between trips.
The family is your typical down to earth Australian family who enjoy BBQ’s & game fishing
The vessel has quite a few support / chase tenders used for exploring , diving and game fishing that the stew /deck will learn to drive the chase yachts under the direction of the permanent deckhand onboard
The owners enjoy keeping fit and active with water activities, particularly fishing.
The Stew / Deck will work in conjunction with the Stew / Cook to deliver a good level of service to the owner and their guests
Great crew dynamic onboard and the stewardess will have plenty of opportunity to share in leisure / water activities in between duties.
A strong sense of fun and humor is important to succeed in this role, someone who has a zest for adventure and who really enjoys working in the industry
Open to green candidates to the very experienced and can match salary accordingly to experience
Open to couples with a mate / engineer

The Ideal Candidate
• Stewardess experience on Yachts or strong hospitality background
• Some deck experience on yachts / commercial or professional deck training
• Good eye for detail
• Enjoys a role with allot of variety.
• Loves travel and adventure
• Bubbly, positive personality
• Keen to get trained up and learn
• Work rights for Australia
