Nurse / Stew (MY 100m+)

An enthusiastic and hard working Nurse / Stew with a positive attitude is required for a MY 100m+ private vessel. The right candidate should have both a solid nursing history in the medical industry and a good amount of experience working as a stewardess onboard a yacht. Ideally you should have experience in a diverse range of care including A&E, trauma and/or paediatrics. All candidates must be willing to perform a role within the Housekeeping team and bring their knowledge and experience to the team to meet the high standards set within the interior of the vessel.

The start date for this role is ASAP.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Proficiency in Crowd Management and Human Behaviour (CMHB)
• Certificate of STCW Medical Care or STCW Medical First Aid is required. (time may be given for you to attend this course prior to embarkation at your own cost)
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seamans Book
• Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering
• Similar role and rank experience
• Good set of skills, knowledge, and experience in medicine and care.
• Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic qualification required.
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
