• Launching in June in Europe
• Sydney based (all year round)
• $170,000- $200,000 AUD / year (as a guide)

A unique opportunity has become available to join an Australian owned 38m new build that will be based year round in Sydney, Australia
Launching in Europe in June, the Captain initially join in Europe for the season working as the 2nd captain / officer before taking over as permanent captain once the vessel reaches Australia at the start of summer 2023
The vessels primary focus will be private , and won’t be pushed hard for charter.
The owner will fly in/out to join the vessel in Sydney with sufficient notice of use
The yacht will be foreign flagged and fully imported into Australia
The position would suit an Australian / NZ Mediterranean style captain who is looking for a yacht with permanent home base in Australia.
Excellent superyacht owner , possessing multiple vessels with healthy budget , with opportunity for role expansion in the future

The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a 500gt or 3000gt (all oceans)
• Superyacht experience essential
• Excellent manager
• Looking for a superyacht with a home base
• Experience in Europe
• Good crew management style
• Experience with mini ISM
• Understanding of survey / flag requirements
• Work rights for Australia

Start: June 2023 (starting in Europe)

Salary: $170,000- $200,000 AUD / year (as a guide) (open to foreign currency for European season)
