A 100’ Expedition yacht (foreign flagged) is on the search for a mate/diver to join their program.
Joining in New Zealand for a yard period the yacht will depart for Vanuatu by the end of October, followed by Solomon Islands, PNG, Indonesia and beyond for a series of private dive trips
Owner usage is about 10 days a month and is also available for charter with equal split of tips
The Mate should be an experienced scuba diver, confident taking care of gear, setting up and buddying up with guests as required.
Advanced open water minimum but would prefer Rescue or Divemaster

The yacht has purchased a new 35’ chase tender that the mate should be confident in driving and taking care of
Position is open to both male/female candidates, however cabins are shared with another male crew member

The Ideal Candidate
• Yachtmaster or equivalent (minimum manning)
• Experienced scuba diver
• Minimum of Advanced Open Water
• Can act as tender captain
• Looking for off the beaten track cruising
• Bridge time
• STCW & Seafarer medical
• Work rights for Australia or NZ
