70m+ Private vessel are looking for a 2nd Officer to start in the next month. An excellent opportunity for a newly qualified OOW looking to step up from being a Bosun as the position involves over seeing the deck department and working closely with the Bosun to make sure the vessel is kept to a high standard. 2nd Office will be in charge of Navigation, GMDSS and planning the deck schedule from pre planned work lists. 

– OOW 3000 
– SSO 
– STCW (refreshed if necessary)
– ENG1

Salary: $4800 moving to $5000 after probation 
Leave: 60 days
Start date: August/September 
  

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
