An exciting opportunity has become available to join a 85m expedition new build out of the yard in Fremantle, Western Australia
Being built to class the yacht will house all the water toys of leisure, big tenders & chopper pad.
Managing a team of 5 deckhands, the 3rd Officer with have excellent leadership ability and be serious about progressing as an Officer within the Superyacht Industry
After launch, the vessel will initially cruise Asia/ Maldives region but will have a worldwide focus , with preference for off the beaten track , rarely travelled locations.
The owner enjoys waterports, particularly diving and any speciality skills like kiting/ surfing will also be well received
The vessel will be used privately initially but has the option to charter down the track.
Bridge time, ISM exposure & accrued commercial sea time as an officer all on offer

The Ideal Candidate (with some flexibility)
1. Must have OOW for bridge watchkeeping and manning whilst other officers on leave
2. STCW basic safety training, Seafarers medical (ENG1 or Equivalent) and Advanced Firefighting required (all revalidated with at least 1 year remaining before expiry)
3. PDSD or SSO security courses
4. Experience on 60m+ vessels is a bonus
5. Experience leading a deck team preferred (either as Bosun or Lead Deckhand)
6. Strong water sports and scuba experience preferred
7. Must be a strong tender driver, preferably with jet experience

Leave: 60 days per year
