Safety Compliance Manager

About the job:

An amazing opportunity has just opened in a company that we are working with and they are looking for a Safety and Compliance Manager who will contribute to the team in the delivery of services to their clients in regards of safety and regulatory compliance aspects which includes commercial yacht codes, ISM, and ISPS Codes, MLC convention.

Ideal candidate will be expected to:

• Be actively involved in the development and maintenance of eSMS, liaising with Yacht managers and forming part of the Emergency Response Team. (training will be provided)
• Maintain up to date list of current crew serving on Clients' yachts and ensuring that they are correctly certified for their appropriate roles.
• Maintain up to date list of statutory certificates of Clients' yachts and ensuring that they remain valid.
• Liaise with Clients and crew to ensure that above certificates are renewed as required.
• Assist Crewing and Recruitment Departments with any crew related queries that they may have.
• Assist with the onboard safety management of yachts receiving Management Support Services.
• Review yachts' ISM reports and returns, collate, draft and send feedback message as required by the Operations Manager.
• Review and approve the issue of feedback prepared by the Technical Assistant as required by the Operations Manager.
• Conduct onboard, internal audits and inspections, as required by the Operations Manager.
• Have the ability to meet deadlines.
