MYS is on the search for a Support Yacht Captain for a 52’ Private MY based all year round in Sydney

The yacht is owned by one of Australia’s premier yachting families and will support their larger 40m+ private MY , soon to arrive into Australia
The family have owned a variety of superyachts locally and abroad, and are hoping for someone who has a very high standard of professionalism and self-presentation
The 52’ will be utilised as a day yacht only, no overnight trips onboard and would suit someone wanting to head home each night
The captain will also act as the shore-based water sports equipment manager, an arsenal even Laird Hamilton would be impressed with
The Support Yacht Captain will receive an adequate handover of outgoing captain of several years

The Ideal Candidate

• Superyacht time overseas or locally
• Very high standard of professionalism
• Flexible on ticket (private vessel only)
• Wanting a land based (live ashore role) in Sydney
• Chase yacht or large tender experience
• Understands discretion
• Can interact well with VVIP
• Can work autonomously
• Can communicate well with House staff and superyacht crew
• Work rights for Australia

Start: July/August (with handover)

Salary: excellent salary package for right candidate
