Position Snapshot

A high profile 50m+ private superyacht is on the lookout for a 2nd engineer/deck to work within their Sydney based program
Working under an experienced chief engineer the 2nd engineer will assist with the engineering requirement onboard between trips, working on routine & preventative maintenance schedule, engineering projects & repairs but will also be assimilated into the deck team when guests are on.
The position would suit either
• Trade qualified engineer with some nautical experience looking for their first start on Superyachts
• Deck/engineers with on job engineering time on superyachts or commercial
The yacht runs a professional program, encourages training, mentorship & courses
The yacht maintains a base in Sydney but is open to the 2nd engineer living onboard
