We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chief Stewardess to join a formal private household in Beverly Hills to manage the home and to work closely with the family before moving onto their newly built 100m private yacht. The role would suit a European candidate, with experience working on large yachts, looking to relocate to Los Angeles as a visa will be provided.
Responsibilities
- have complete responsibility of the smooth running of the home ensuring it is maintained at a 5* standard at all times
- manage the hiring and training of all household staff
- source and manage the suppliers and contractors used by the house
- organise all inventories
- manage the household budget and monthly spending
- regular house inspections ensuring any maintenance issues are addressed immediately
- formal food and drinks service
- arranging trips, transport, reservations, or other similar events for the family
- build a close working relationship with the family to truly understand their exact style of service and personal preferences so that when the yacht build is complete, you are able to move onto the yacht to run identically to how their home is run
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Chief Stewardess onboard a 70m+ motor yacht
- strong staff management experience with the skills to hire, onboard and train new staff members
- formal service experience, ideally silver service trained
- be comfortable working in extremely luxurious and opulent surroundings
- experience working with formal, private and discreet clients and owners
- have a positive attitude, be eager to please and be able to anticipate needs
- be looking to relocate to California to work in the family’s main residence for 2 years whilst their yacht is being built
- be fully vaccinated
Package salary $100,000 per annum
accommodation can be provided – live in or live out

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
