About:

We are working with an independent and highly responsive company who are seeking to employ a Crewing Manager with a strong background in human resources.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least two years' experience of general management or human resources in the maritime industry.
  • Must be well-organised and result-driven.
  • Must be able to work under strict time constraints and remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Must be able to communicate competently, understanding the needs of others and answering queries efficiently.
  • Must be IT literate and have ample knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must hold a CIPD level 5 or an equivalent HR qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of crew management.
  • Assisting with crew recruitment in collaboration with the yachts' Captains and owners' offices, including liaising with crew agencies, vetting potential candidates, obtaining references, arranging and conducting interviews. 
  • Ensuring potential crew candidates have the required qualifications, certificates and experience.
  • Vetting training request from existing crew members.
  • Supporting contract changes.
  • Completing all onboarding processes and documentations.
  • Preparing payroll and monitoring rotation / leave schedules of crew.
  • Answering general HR enquiries.

Salary: DOE
Start date: ASAP

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
