We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess onboard a 75m Superyacht in Italy.

The Chief Stewardess must be extremely skilled in five-star hospitality, various service styles, interior maintenance and has an excellent eye for detail. The chief stewardess must have extensive experience managing large teams and overseeing the roles of the Yacht Crew, Housekeepers and Chefs.

The individual will be responsible for guest satisfaction onboard and must have the ability to anticipate owners/guest needs and exceed every expectation. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position, as well as team management, delegating tasks and fiscal administration.

The salary offered will depend on the candidates profile and experience. You will be working dual season travelling the Mediterranean, with a rotation introduced from the 1st October. This role requires more than five years of experience in the Superyacht industry and experience on working on 75-100m vessels. A candidate with a Schengen B1 / B2 visa will be highly advantageous. Leave will be MLC 38 days per year until the vessel departs from the yard and is fully operational. Leave schedule will be increased thereafter.

Duties will include :

Managing the interior team
Guest service, liaise with guests, serve meals, tend the bar
Liaise with the galley for meal service
Flower and table decorations
Set Steward/Stewardess schedules for cleaning and service
Maintenance and cleaning of the interior
Organise guest activities and parties
Boat stowage for sea
Accounting and managing budgets
Interior crew hiring, training and management
Upkeep of inventories, provisioning, uniform purchase
Dealing with shipyard contractors

Required Skills:

Ability to delegate
Excellent communication, organisation and diplomacy
Knowledge of restaurants and activities in cruising areas
Knowledge of flower and table decorations
Attention to detail
Financial management
Fluency in multiple languages fluently is a bonus
New build experience
Experience in five-star establishments (i.e. Michelin star restaurants, fine hotels) is a bonus
