A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced OOW to join a South Pacific Cruising Expedition yacht for a series of private surf, fishing and dive trips

This yacht is all about watersports and off beaten track cruising and the 1st officer should be an all-round waterman/women with excellent navigation and bridge skills

Must also be very hands on, can float between bridge and deck easily, jet tender experience and can manage a tight knit deck team

Itinerary, some of, New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Fiji, Tahiti, Tuamotu’s, PNG, Raja Umpat will be some of the destinations the yacht will sample

The Ideal Candidate

• OOW or Chief Mate
• STCW, ENG 1
• Very big on water sports, either surfing, diving or fishing
• Strong navigational skills
• Looking for longevity
• Wants sea time and off beaten track destinations
• Strong work ethic
• Hands on approach
• Jet tender experience
• Australians or New Zealanders for joining
• Vaccinated against COVID

Start: 1st March 2022

Salary: $7000 US / month DOE, 38 days off with Sundays accrued if worked. Standard package of medical and one flight PA.
