We are looking for an AVIT engineer for a 100m+ private Motor Yacht, we are looking for a fluent English speaking candidate, reporting to Chief AVIT

This is a rotational 10 weeks on/10 weeks off, ETO CoC would be desirable but not must.

Ideal candidate will be confident in using, maintaining and fault diagnosing the following systems, software and operating system's:

  • Crestron Control CP3 CP4 VC4
  • Crestron NVX Distribution
  • Kerio Control
  • Windows Server 2019 (Active directory, WSUS, DHCP, DNS, File & Print services)
  • Seatel Antenna systems TVRO (ST94 and TV120HD) & VSAT (9711 & 5012) MXP and DAC BDU
  • VEEAM backup and replication
  • VMWare
  • Cisco: Switching lan vlan ACL's, Wi-Fi, VOIP, ISE Radius, Prime and mobility services.
  • Motorola Tetra Radio system
  • Windows 7, 10, 11 clients along with end user support.
  • Office 365 end user support
  • Linux

Start date May 2022. Handover would need to start week before prior taking over the role.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
