A high profile 36m private /charter MY is on the search for a new captain for their busy program
The yacht maintains a very high standard and has well established crew in place
Incoming captain will be given a very comprehensive handover from outgoing captain of 7 years and will have a solid chief engineer (MEC 3) of 3 years standing in place for support
Having recently undergone a comprehensive refit (where no expense was spared) the vessel is immaculate and aims to be selective in their charter bookings
Above all the owner is after someone with the right attitude, with an easy communication style, is looking for longevity and is an effective manager
The yacht maintains a home base in Sydney with yard times around the Gold Coast / Brisbane region & winters in the Whitsundays

The Ideal Candidate

• Master 4
• Superyacht captain experience
• Charter experience preferable
• Proven longevity
• Easy communication style
• Very professional in approach
• Career orientated
• Can work well with external stakeholders
• Manage survey / flag requirements
• Good crew management skills
• Business minded
• Time in Sydney harbour, able to get COLK at some point

Start- Within 2 months (end of April) with handover

Salary- Given on Application, higher end of market
