Position Snapshot

• NO vaccine mandate for crew
• MED 1, MEC 3 or Y3
• Above industry standard pay

A high profile, QLD based 56m MY is on the search for an experienced 2nd engineer to join their team.
The yacht will have no mandates for crew / guest COVID vaccination and will predominantly operate within QLD
As the yacht will look to get back into class & potentially take the odd charter, the captain will be hoping for the 2nd engineer to be holding a ticket of either a MED 1, MEC 3 or Y3
Money will be above Australian Industry standard for the right engineer looking to commit to the vessels QLD program
Twin Caterpillar Engines 3512B’s
The yacht intends for a home berth around Brisbane in between trips up/down the coast

The Ideal Candidate

• 2nd/ 3rd engineer experience
• MED 1, MEC 3 or Y3
• Open to Superyacht or Commercial experience
• Trade qualified preferable
• Looking to offer a firm commitment
• Content with a fulltime position without rotation
• Can assist with dry dock period, work lists, project management
• Can relieve as chief engineer when required
• Happy with a QLD based yacht
