We are urgently recruiting for a yacht captain to join a beautiful 37 meter vessel in Dubai. The right candidate will be in charge of 4 crew members, have considerable maritime experience and training and have significant experience gained in either the superyacht or the merchant navy sectors. Previous experience of yacht handling is essential and handling a yacht of the same or similar sizes a distinct advantage. Must be already in UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Safe navigation and operation of the yacht
  • Budget management
  • Managing money and accounting on board
  • Decision making with regard to crew
  • Overseeing the upkeep of the vessel
  • Taking control of repairs and yard visits
  • Assuming the role of ‘host’ and entertaining when necessary
  • Manage refit projects

  • Must be already in UAE
  • Holds all relevant qualifications
  • Must be flexible in terms of schedule and availability
  • Ready at short notice
  • Strong personality
  • Impeccable manners
  • Familiar with dealing with UHNW individuals

Package Salary: 20000-25000 AED per month DOE

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
