Seeking Captain for a full-time position on private >100 ft yacht.  Homeport is Ft Lauderdale, FL.  Northeast US in the summer months.  FL and Bahamas during the winter months.  Required at least 200ton USCG master license.  Need to exhibit strong engineering skills for independent maintenance and repairs to propulsion, plumbing, electric, refrigeration, A/C, heating, navigation equipment, etc.  Must have excellent ships operations and maintenance experience.  Must have excellent navigation skills with extensive experience in cruising East Coast US, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Caribbean.  

Experienced at managing interior and deck crew with professionalism and outstanding service.  That is... operate our private yacht and manage its crew as if it is the elegant and luxurious vacation and relaxation environment it is meant to be for our family and friends.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on cruise ships or yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  30-39m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 10 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
