Captain 46m Private/Charter MY – Europe & Caribbean

• 3000gt MCA or equivalent

A lovely New Zealand owner is on the search for an experienced captain to join his 46m Private/Charter MY for the upcoming European season and beyond.
The yacht has an excellent reputation and is quite selective on its charters.
The yacht is also couple friendly and would consider a captain partnered with an experienced chief stewardess.
Whilst the role is fulltime (no rotation) additional leave is given around shoulder seasons and yard times to compensate its busy dual Med/Caribbean itineraries.
Longevity is an absolute must and the owner is hoping for that special captain / owner relationship where complete trust is given for the management of the vessel and the safety of his guests onboard
The yacht runs an ISM, is heavy on watersports and runs 9/10 crew
Will consider candidates worldwide, opportunity to meet the owner in person if currently located in the New Zealand/OZ regions

The Ideal Candidate

• MCA 3000gt or equivalent
• STCW, ENG 1
• Previous captain experience on similar sized vessels
• Proven longevity in previous positions
• ISM experience
• Term charter experience
• Professional management style
• Easy going nature, no big ego’s
• Values loyalty and commitment
• Happy with a dual season yacht

Start Date: Flexible

Salary: 11,000 € / month DOE (negotiable)

Leave Entitlements: Standard MLC + additional by mutual agreement (but no rotation)
