2nd Engineer/ Deck 42m Charter MY – Europe/Caribbean

A high profile 42m charter yacht is on the search for an enthusiastic 2nd engineer/deck to join their team of 9
The yacht operates dual season Med and Caribbean and will shortly undertake a busy charter season in Europe

The position could suit a young commercial engineer (with ticket) looking for their first start on Superyachts

Position will be a dual 2nd Engineer and deck role. Being Deckhand on charter and Engineer off charter.

The yacht has recently undergone 5-year refit and is in immaculate condition.

The 2nd engineer/ deck will work under the guidance of an experienced Y3 engineer

There is an incredible team environment on this yacht, with good longevity amongst the crew and a personable friendly owner who values loyalty and commitment.

The yacht is also heavily into watersports therefore a 2nd engineer/deck who is confident in the water would be well suited

The ideal candidate

• Will hold MEOL or equivalent
• STCW & ENG 1
• Looking for both deck and engineering commercial sea time
• Looking to build on tickets
• Versatile allrounder who enjoys a blended role
• Likes to get involved with watersports
• No visible tattoos and non-smoking
• Trade background advantageous
• Male (due to cabin arrangements)

Start- Mid to late April in Europe.

Salary –4000 Euro / month DOE + tips, + MLC Leave entitlements, flights ect (can go up for good experience)
