Captain

A position has become available for professionally qualified experienced ( MCA Master 500 GT) Captain for our 27m Superyacht M/Y LITTLE BLUE. Vessel based & cruising Papua New Guinea. We are mainly looking for somone from the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar

Candidate for this position needs to be confidant with all aspects of handling a vessel of this type and size. Very confidante with been able to navigate uncharted coral reefs and cruising remote areas of Papua New Guinea.

Some marine engineering qualifications would be an advantage to fill this position.

Little Blue has 4 double guest cabins and accommodation for 6 crew members.

This is a live aboard full-time position under contract

Agreement shall be for a term of 2 years subjected to the issuance of a work permit and PNG visa. Employment shall be deemed to commence when the Employee enters PNG.

You will Report to the Vessel Manager/Operations Manager of LITTLE BLUE always and follow instructions and directions that are given during your employment.

Carry out and perform their duties in a competent and professional manner and in accordance with generally accepted professional standards the employee shall serve a probationary period of THREE (3) months from the commencement date. At any time within that probationary period the owner is entitled in its absolute discretion to terminate the employment of the Employee, upon the expiration of the probationary period by giving written notice to the Employee.

One economy returns airfare to point of recruitment annually after 52 weeks of service. Four (4) weeks annual leave after 52 weeks of service.
