ETO (Rotation, Equal time) 90m+ Expedition Vessel- Australia & Beyond

A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced ETO interested in joining a New Build 90m+ Expedition Yacht on its launch in 2021

The boat will operate both within Australia & internationally (COVID borders pending)

The company will fly its crew in/out from any major airport within Australia for their swings.

The ideal candidate will hold AMSA CoSt, Medical & preferably an ETO certificate / hail from a very strong electrical background

The company can only employ candidates with full working rights for Australia / NZ

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintenance of all electrical motors onboard including generators
• Responsible for maintenance of main switch board and emergency switchboard
• Responsible for maintenance of fire alarm system including fire detectors
• Responsible for maintenance of the general alarm system
• Responsible for maintenance of PA system onboard mother vessel and tender boats
• Responsible for maintenance of entertainment systems
• Responsible for maintenance of navigation lights and navigation equipment on mother vessel and tender boats
• Responsible for maintenance of all batteries fitted on mother vessel and tender boats
• Responsible for rectifying electrical defects recorded in the hotel defect book on a daily basis
• Responsible for maintenance of air condition system
• Responsible for refrigeration system
• Responsible for testing of IAS system as required by Class
• Assist with watch keeping routines
• Engine room tours and Dining with Guests

Maintain and upkeep the following manuals/drawing as required by AMSA and Class

• Ship's technical manual where related to electrical components
• Ship's maintenance and service manual were related to electrical components
• Ship's maintenance records were related to electrical components
• Ships electrical system drawings

Salary- Early 2021

Salary- Circa $100, 000 AUD / Year based on equal time roster
