The Company

I am currently working with an established Yacht Management Company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join the team.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Yacht Manager / Project Manager with Superyacht experience to take the next step in their career.

As Technical Project Manager you will be based in the companies head office and enjoy a varied role including travel. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects covering Dry Dockings, Refits, maintenance work and builds.

Key responsibilities of the role include managing projects from beginning to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget and kept to company standards, negotiating with shipyards, and having direct communication with yacht owners / owners reps.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Existing experience as Yacht Manager / Technical Manager / Project Manager
  • Strong Shipyard experience
  • Superyacht Experience as Chief Engineer / Senior Engineer
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • It is essential that you have up to date maritime legislation knowledge
  • Fluent English language skills and Computer Literacy

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
