Chief Stewardess- 35m Expedition MY Private/Charter- QLD

Are you interested in being based in tropical north QLD?

A high profile 35m expedition charter yacht is on the search for an experienced stewardess to commence for their charters in September / October in QLD
The yacht has a diving and fishing focus and typically takes charters from Whitsundays to Far North QLD (Cairns & Surround)
The yacht has also travelled internationally to PNG, Solomon Islands ect but will be remaining in Australia over the COVID period
Typically ruining with 5-6 crew, the Chief Stewardess will generally act as a sole stewardess (when no guests) but will typically have a 2nd stewardess for busy charter/private trips
The yacht would consider either a seasoned chief stewardess or a 2nd stewardess (with the view to step up after training)
The stewardess will be required to cover basic crew meals/lunches on occasion until a permanent chef is employed
The role will be live onboard with some flexibility when the yacht is in its home port to live off
(would consider a seasonal chief stew for 2 months, but preference for fulltime)
Charter season will act as a trial for both parties

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong Stewardess experience on Superyachts
• Proven longevity is an absolute must
• Confident equally in both Service & Housekeeping
• Able to tackle the Yachts Administration requirement/ assist in charter bookings / preference sheets
• Fulfill general concierge duties for guests or owners
• Can work within a mini ISM framework
• Full work rights for Australia
• STCW, ENG1/Seafarer medical
• Can acquire an RSA, food handling / hygiene certificate

Start Date- Mid- September (interviews early August)

Salary- On industry standard / On Experience & Negotiable
