1st Officer 45m Private MY – Asia , Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia

A high profile 45m private MY is currently looking for 1st Officer to join the yacht on either a permanent or seasonal basis (4-month contract)
The yacht is run with an experienced crew of 9 and maintains a permanent base in South East Asia
As the yacht will be cruising multiple locations the yacht is open to taking candidates from a variety of areas along its voyage
However, will only accept candidates currently located in either Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia or New Zealand (due to COVID border restrictions)
The CO will work alongside a very experienced captain, taking charge of the exterior and leading the deckhand & deck/stew by example.
The CO will be a team player, have experience on vessels 40m+ and who likes to be active on the water outside of working hours.
The yacht spends allot of time off the beaten track, therefore the chief officer should be fine for remote island cruising/living

The Ideal Candidate

• Yachtmaster (minimum)
• STCW, Seafarer Medical
• 1st officer or senior Lead Deck/Bosun on large yachts
• Watersports enthusiast
• Healthy & COVID free
• Clean passport and valid for over 12 months
• mini ISM Experience
• Bridge and Tender driving time
• Currently located in either Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia or New Zealand

Start: 1-4 weeks depending on location

Salary: Paid in $US dollars and on experience, $5000-$5500 US/month bracket, 6 weeks annual leave + 2 X return flights
