The Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Captain of a Private 45-meter Super Yacht Currently based in Queensland - you will spend time travelling the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and could spend time in either Melbourne Sydney or Brisbane.

As Captain, you are responsible for the entire operation of a 45-meter steel hull super yacht.

You will be in charge of a team of 4+ staff and act as the CEO of this large prestige vessel.

You will maintain administrative requirements and work closely with the family to understand their requirements.

Requirements:

The minimum qualifications for the position would include:

• Extensive experience as a Captain on a Private Yacht, 45m+ in size.
• We will also consider an experienced Chief Officer who has worked on larger size yachts looking for a step up into a Captains role
• Current license for a vessel of this size and a Captains Ticket for a 500-ton vessel
• A proven record of navigation and particularly experience within the Great Barrier Reef areas
• Management, Public Relations, Budgeting, Accounting, Engineering Knowledge and Skills

Other Requirements

• Police Check
• Drivers' License.
• This is a no smoking vessel.
• You will live on the vessel and have all expenses paid as well as a salary and leave entitlements.
