Interior Manager

We are working on behalf of a leading Super Yacht company who are looking for an interior manager based in Europe.

You will be a former Chief Steward or Chief Stewardess on yachts or cruise ships.

You will have strong knowledge and practical experience of the interior of a super yacht and will have a clear understanding of the recruitment procedures, and the standards of a yacht interior set-up.

Experience with refits and project management is essential. You will also ideally have experience with large yachts 80+ however smaller yacht experience maybe considered.

The responsibilities of the interior manager are:

Preliminary Selection of Owner's Supplies, with the Interior and Exterior Design teams, of:

• Tableware: china, silverware, glassware, service accessories
• Linen: bed linen, bath linen, table linen
• Decorative accessories
• Leather accessories
• Bathroom accessories
• Table décor
• Books
• Stationery
• Selection of wines and spirits
• Approval of crew uniform quotations, guests clothing items
• Sign-off on sea-fastening plan of Owner's Supplies
• Approval of general purchasing quotations
• Electric equipment for crew areas
• Crew areas accessories
• Housekeeping consumables, Housekeeping non-consumables
• Laundry consumables, laundry non-consumables
• Floristry equipment and accessories
• Purchasing of launch party gifts
• Review of all interior SAP's - service, housekeeping, galley, spa.
• Review of weekly OCB
• Monthly vessel inspections
• Approval of expenditure for galley and interior equipment and supplies

You will also be involved in the crew recruitment, organize training, approve leave request forms and approve training request forms.

You will also be involved in new interior design products, build relationships with new manufacturers, and attend trade shows to maximize visibility, and establish our position in the yachting industry.

This position is paying between €54,000 - €96,000.
