CHIEF OFFICER REQUIRED

START DATE ASAP

We are looking for a Bosun to join a 50m motor yacht currently based in US. This is a private yacht with a cruising schedule of the US East Coast. You will be working with great owners and a strong team of 11 crew.

DUTIES

Exterior Maintenance, Supervising Deckhand and Deck Engineer (Seasonal contract to run until the end of October but may extend for the right candidate). You will stand a navigational watch and so previous experience as a watchkeeper is advantageous. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • OOW or at least some modules completed
  • Yacht Master
  • ENG1
  • STCW
  • Minimum 3+ years in a similar role. No visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  40-49m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 2 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
