Chief Officer

• Looking for a male Chief Officer. Chief Mate 3000 qualified. UK, SA, NZ or Australian passport (must have no visa issues). 5+ years of experience on yachts of similar size. 50/50 ratio of deck to bridge work in the summer, 70/30 in winter.
• 50m Heesen. 9 crew. Deck team of 4 including the captain when possible. - Nice new family owners looking to have the yacht based in Italy / SOF. It’s unknown if they will keep it private or charter.
• At the moment the CO position will be a temp contract but could turn to be permanent depending if the captain and owners are happy. Salary TBC. 42 days holiday, one flight home per year, medical insurance. TBC.
• Good Management company, mini ISM is run on board. IOM flag.
• Great captain from New Zealand, easy to get along with, good laugh, and leaves the CO to get on with his job.
• Mixed crew from Australia, Serbia, South Africa, and France. Good bunch who get along well and help out each other in the summer.
• The yacht is in good condition and not requiring a crazy winter to get her ready for the summer.
• 7m Castoldi jet tender, one stand-up jetski, and one sit-down jetski. Some towables and basic scuba gear. Not really masses of watersports equipment. That may change with the new owners though.

I would ideally like someone to start on Monday 13th Jan so that it gives us enough time to do a thorough handover before the current CO departs.
