2nd Stewardess / Head Housekeeper - Permanent - Italy

We're currently recruiting a 2nd stew / head housekeeper for a private 50M M/Y currently in Italy. This is a very important role as she the candidate will step in for the chief stew when she's on leave and helps to manage the girls while the chief stew is busy with guests etc. She should have an extremely good knowledge of housekeeping/laundry and be able to run a team of 2 girls as well as train juniors. She needs to be able to think of her feet, be happy with a predominantly housekeeping role but be happy to step into service if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping & laundry departments
• Step up when the chief stew is away/on her breaks
• Service when required
• Provisioning & maintaining inventories
• Train junior stewardesses

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years in yachting with proven longevity and strong verbal references (1-2 years on similar sized vessel or larger holding similar position)
• Silver Service.
• Strong Housekeeping skills
• It would be good for her to have good experience with running the uniform and cleaning product inventories on board.
• Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Food and Hygiene Level 2

Flights: 1 Return Flight per year. After 1 year onboard
