Marine Manager – 6 Star Island Resort – Fiji

A unique opportunity has become available for a former superyacht or marine professional looking to go land based on a beautiful Island of Fiji.
As the Marine Manager you will be in charge of the entire marine department for the resort Island managing the various heads of department involving the dive boats, transfer vessels and water sports instructors.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Diver also holding relevant boat driving tickets.
The Manager will be responsible to monitor KPI’s, improve department processes, encourage marine activities/tours, conduct vessel maintenance, ensure WH&S compliance and distribute responsibilities across the entire marine department
The successful candidate will have the benefits of living in a 6 star Island resort in Fiji, with all accommodation and food included. The resort is the sole occupant of the Island and the staff have the luxury of working and living on their very own private tropical paradise.
The work structure is 6 weeks on and 1 week off rotation

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold Master 5 or 200 tonnes (or higher)
• Qualified PADI diver
• Some experience in high end resorts or Superyachts
• Good computer skills
• Can manage budgets and reports
• First Aid certificate/ experience

Salary- Depending on candidates’ experience, paid in Australian dollars

Inclusions- Rotation + 4 weeks annual leave + flights + medical + accommodation
