2nd Engineer / ETO (AEC)(MY 50M+)

Job Advert

A permanent 2nd Engineer / ETO is required for a 50m+ private / charter vessel based in the Mediterranean Sea. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong mechanical and technical ability, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and possess a level of yachting experience suitable for such a role. The candidate should also display a high degree of competency, operating and maintaining AV/IT equipment and should be eager to apply themselves to learning new systems, quickly and independently. Joining a team of qualified maritime professionals, the right person should be friendly, hard working, respectful of other crew and display an understanding of how to behave in a confined living environment. The start date is 30 September 2019 joining in the central Mediterranean.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• AEC Minimum qualification but higher tickets advantageous
• AEC Candidates will be required to perform type specific main engine training upon joining
• Formal technical Diploma, Degree and/or training would be advantageous
• Must speak fluent English
• Valid Schengen Visa Required
• No Visible Tattoos
